Entry
deadline extended to 14 April
Following the announcement
this morning by the Comrades Marathon Association
that its entry deadline has been extended, the 2009
Forever Resorts Loskop Marathon Series organising
committee has decided to extend
its entry deadline to Tuesday, 14 April 2009.
As the Forever Resorts
Loskop Marathon, taking place on Saturday 18 April
2009, is an official Comrades Marathon qualifying
and seeding event, it was decided to extend the deadline
for entries to enable runners to improve their seeding
a mere five weeks before the Comrades Marathon.
The entry fee for the
50km Forever Resorts Loskop Marathon is R130,00 per
athlete and for the 21.1km Forever Resorts Wild Challenge
is R80,00 per entry.
The registration and
start for the Forever Resorts Loskop Marathon takes
place at the Municipal Offices in Wanderers Street,
Middelburg. The registration and start for
the Forever Resorts Wild Challenge is at the Damwal
Complex just past the Forever Resorts Loskopdam Resort.
